Prayer and Praise
We have been blessed with a new grandson in May. Little Aiden Alexander Leatch was born the end of May (Jessica’s baby). All went well. He had to go to a heart doctor when he was about six weeks old. He has a very small hole in his heart, but the doctor feels it will close itself as his heart grows. So far he is doing great.
His big sister, Scarlett and their cousin Drew are now in the big kid category. They have passed from diapers to big kid underpants. Both of their mothers, Mary Beth and Jessica are so glad they have taken to this transition so well and so quick. (Of course they would catch on fast, my grand children are all so smart and clever!)
Angie, as some of you know, had stomach surgery in Feb. She has lost over 130 pounds so far. She is feeling so much better and is praising the Lord for all He did to get her through a very difficult year last year and working miracle after miracle for her. She said the one thing she learned through it all was to trust completely in Him. (Pray those of you in SC, Angie’s Carolyn has her driver’s permit-wasn’t it yesterday she was learning how to ride a bike?)
David is now through school and looking forward to Jan. That is when he and Chrsitie will marry. We will keep you posted on all the wedding details. Christie is planning a beautiful wedding. We are so excited for both of them.
Sarah’s baby, Kinzie, is starting K-5 this year. She is not so sure of it, she would like to keep things just the way the are. Brooke is ready to go back to school and see her friends again.
Rachel is remarried and is living in TN. Their blended family consists of six kids. It is hard to believe that her Davy is the tallest in the family. Time sure flies fast.
Dave and I are in good shape, considering the shape we are in! Old age is catching up fast, but so far we have been able to out run it most of the time, but we are starting to slow down a bit. Between his bad hearing and my bad eyes, we make one good couple!
Until next time. . .Jehovah-jireh, “Putter”
